Sorry: I can't access all my files immediately, but I think my erroneous
statement is in one of the ICMC conference papers, not XH as I didn't
see it in my archive copies this AM.

BTW, David Rothenberg is a composer as well as a mathematician and
computer scientist. Back in the 1960's, he commissioned a large tunable
synthesizer from Moog. However, there is another composer named
Rothenberg who also lives in the NYC area, so some confusion is possible.
