More on Mat Maneri

I ran into Steve Lantner (co-director of the Boston Microtonal Society) last
night and he told me that Julia Werntz (the other co-director) is having her
doctoral dissertation composition performed tonight by Mat Maneri and others
at Brandeis University. It's in 72-tone and features unusual rhythmic
procedures. Also, Steve (a keyboardist) and Mat have a CD out of microtonal
improvisations (Steve has used one fixed and one transposing keyboard to
achieve 24-tET or 36-tET). More on these as I find out . . .
