Notating harmonics 24-48 with sagittal

Hi,

We need help in figuring out how to notate harmonics 24-48 (fundamental G) in Sagittal. Scala's sagittal function is only working for me in 'Athenian' precision (which seems to be conflating 37/26 with 3/2 for example) -- can someone point us in the right direction?

Much thanks,
Jacob

37/26 is conflated with 3/2? Not possible; that's either a typo or simply the wrong ratio. 37/26 would be G!!/ or F/||\, which would be conflated with 729/512 (difference of -0.914 cents). To distinguish intervals this close, you need extreme (olympian-level) precision:

37/26: F/||\.. G!!/''

You'll have to decide if you really need to make a distinction of less than half of a schisma when you'd be hard pressed to play that accurately on a flexible-pitch acoustic instrument.

Anyway, here are the odd harmonics 25 thru 47 of G in extreme-precision sagittal:

25: D)||( E'\!!!
27: E
29: F(|' G)\!!!/
31: F~|||). G(\!.
33: G/|\ A'(!!!(
35: G.//|||' A\!)
37: A)//|'' B\\!!!
39: A.|). B(!/.
41: B/| C')!!(
43: C~|(..
45: C||\ D'\!!/
47: C/|||\' D~!)..

If you don't like all those tiny accent marks "adorning" your manuscript, you can try "set notation saji2" in Scala, which in most cases will give you the same notation as above, with the accent marks omitted.

I hope this helps.
