Dear Monz,

Curiosity killed the cat - what took you to Zambia?

P.S. Oddly enough, last night I happened to be speaking to my partner Ann about my
1975 - 1976 travels in Morocco, Algeria, the late Spanish Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia and Mali.  I had hoped to make it all the way to Cape Town, but "making a living as you go" was quite difficult in Africa.  One day in Senegal I sang on the street non-stop for two hours and earned a remarkable seven cents!

Hi Mark,

Sorry to respond so late ... i only just saw this post now.

My wife is from Zambia, so it was a family visit.
I got to meet what she said was "just a small fraction
of my family", which translates into a couple of hundred
people. ;-)

It was my first time in Africa, and i loved it ...
really didn't want to come home, at least not so soon.
