Aztec-jazz Ethno2 demo

Hi friends,
This is my first demo submission for the "Ethno2 microtonal compete",
for Pan flute, cristal glasses, guimbri and percussions (there is unfortunately no guimbri in Ethno2, so it's a guimbri imitation made with an acoustic bass sound).
It was supposed to be Aztec-inspired music but it ended quite jazzy - I trapped myself in a loop, it's like that -
(it's my first experience with MIDI...)

It's named "Xiuhtecatl" ("Turquoise wind"), Aztec old deity of the time cycles, Lord of the night, associated with fire and husband of the water goddess.

You can hear it here :
http://boomp3.com/mp3/l0bqzbv5t0g-xiutecatl

or along with some of the Ethno2 other demos :

You can download it from :
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7648775/Jacques%20DUDON/index.html

Thanks to Francois for opening that dropbox + boomp3, that works nicely.

I will explain the tuning later.
I am curious to know how you hear this scale here !

excellent!

The opening is very cool. The overall impression for me is New Age meets
free jazz meets ambient electronica.

Well, honestly the tuning does not sound overtly micro. But I think
that is good.
The first couple / three of my demos released here were dismissed by
some on the tuning list for the same reason.

Personally I think good music is good music no matter what you did to create it.
