I'd like to thank Klaus Schmirler for making a complete
English tranlation, and herewith announce the internet home, of

Willi Mllendorf

_Music with Quarter Tones: Experiences at the Bichromatic Harmonium_
http://www.ixpres.com/interval/monzo/moellendorf/contents.htm

I had published an English translation, based largely on an
Altavista internet translation with some translating of my own,
to be made available in conjunction with my April 2001 presentaton
"Microtonality in Berlin and Vienna in the Early 1900s" at Microfest
in Pomona, CA.

That translation really left a lot to be desired, and so Klaus
generously made a new version for me that is much better.

(... not to mention, complete! The Altavista translation machine
leaves untranslated any words it does not recognize, and while I
did my darndest to search these out in dictionaries, meanings and
therefore English equivalents of some of them still eluded me.)

Note that several of the musical illustrations can be clicked
to play a MIDI-file of that illustration.

I still plan to tinker with these webpages to included more
sound-files, and to put my standard wallpaper and footer on each
... eventually.

Enjoy!

love / peace / harmony ...
