Michael,

which 'voice'/'voices' on my keyboard has/have a timbre close to the ideal. The ideal being that the frequencies of the harmonics are almost exactly x, 2x, 3x, 4x etc and the amplitudes of the harmonics are almost exactly y, y/2, y/3, y/4 etc. This is crucial for testing my calculator.

I'd highly recommend a low-attack acoustic guitar sound as it has a bit off everything (even and odd harmonics). Of course, saw waves have very strong harmonics all around...but you would have to EQ the saw wave first as most harmonics in a saw are of equal amplitude (they don't decrease amplitudes a lot toward higher harmonics and pretty much die out after the 7th or so harmonic as most instruments do)...you'd have to custom-make such a sample for a timbre. So realistically, I'd recommending sticking with low attach high sustain guitar sounds.
