Very true. I must caution you that putting 5/4 next to 4/12 like that is
really asking for misunderstanding. Say 2^(4/12), it's not that much more
typing.

Well your right ("it's not that much more typing"), but were you
confused? I mean what else would someone confuse the 4/12 (in the
context of that post) for really? Hmm, maybe it just sets a bad (i.e.,
inaccurate) example for others? Alright, I'll try to be better... no
guarantees though...
