===A warning as to the dangers===

I feel it only fair to extend a warning to you all as to the inherant
dangers of altering you're brain's chemistry with chemicals.

These can permanantly change your personality, and you're psych.

Even so called "harmless" substances such as marijuana can cause both brain
damage, lack of motivation, and to the very suseptible, flashbacks can occur
with the use of marijuana.

A close friend of mine injested a muffin laced with hashish oil, some time
back, and was very nearly institutionalised,-it completely freaked him out.

He thought he was going insane....

I would not recomend any experimentation what-so-ever to try to enhance
you're pleasure and awareness of music, microtonal or otherwise.

A word of advice to you all, on the tuning list,-I see you all, well, for
the want of a better word, "percieve" you all as friends, and I would not
wish on any of you, such a terrifing experience that psychadellics and
hallucinogens can give you.

----Sarn.

In support of Sarn's concern, I feel compelled to post that I lost my
extremely talented brother because of his experimentation with drugs. When
he called me that night thirty years ago to ask me if I would meet him, I
could tell he was "out there" and said we should talk "tomorrow." The next
day they found him crushed by traffic near the freeway bridge he had leaped
off. There was no "tomorrow."

Jerry, I'm sorry to hear about your brother.

I've been meaning to post something to indicate my welcoming of Sarn's
warning. Obviously experimentation with drugs is not a tuning issue, but
Sarn is not the one who raised the issue. Drug use is a _musician's issue,
at least in the sense that the list of those who died early deaths because
of their destructive habits goes on and on and on...
