Its all a bit cliche I know - but its what I wanted to do.

I would like to make one thing clear, and in a way modify my reply to
Michael,

When I improvise I try to midi record my work. This is so I may clean up
what I did.
Things like unintended notes are removed. Sometimes when its a new or
complicated tuning bum notes are moved and on occasion the tempo is changed
or hesitations removed. However, after saying that, the main structure of
the piece is as I improvised - otherwise I'd just be scoring the piece in
midi.

I do not mean to give the impression that I can nail every note in a 5 or 10
minute improvisation without errors. I can get a fair amount of the notes as
I intend if I can "map" the tuning in my mind - where I visually see
relationships like in 19 edo a minor 7th on the keyboard = a fifth sound - I
can do a fair job of improvising. What occurs when I improvise is I try to
hear where the melody and harmony wants to go and follow that. That is true
regardless of the tuning.
