Torsten: I don't Howe's article has been published as his web pages says that it was written in 1993 and is undergoing revision.
His home page is http://qcpages.qc.cuny.edu/hhowe/works.html and the article may be found under WORKS. He is a composer who has used microtonality in electronic music, but I don't know if any of it is on the web.

Thank you! The very comprehensive bibliography at
http://www.huygens-fokker.org/docs/bibliography.html
lists this paper with the strange annotation "catalogue of papers accepted for the ICMC 1993". Strange wording...

Best wishes,
Torsten

Hi,

I have uploaded files concerning to dissonance analysis of 19-EDO pc-set classes as chords:

/tuning/files/HudsonLacerda/

Look for files with *19* in the name, and also read:

comments12.txt
results12.txt

The files *diss*.txt contain all pitch permutations and respective dissonance values. Most of the files end with a ranking of dissonance means (the ranking for 12-EDO is in results12.txt).

There are also files on 17-EDO and 22-EDO.

(I am also analysing 24-EDO and other EDO, but I will not upload more files to the list, because they are becoming too large for a shared space. Eventually I can upload the files -- including the computer programs and organized information -- to another site.)

Cheers,
Hudson
