problem with a link

I'm trying to do this but am having a problem, and don't
understand why or how to fix it.

I had this code
<A NAME=summary></A>

at another spot where it was working OK with the link
<A HREF=meantone.htm#summary>summary</A>

but now I moved it to the beginning of the new table Paul made,
and the links from eqtemp.htm no longer work.

As a test, I tried adding
<A HREF=meantone.htm#summary>summary</A>
to the beginning of the text in meantone.htm itself,
and it worked fine, but when clicking the link in eqtemp.htm
it doesn't work.

(I haven't uploaded this yet, since it doesn't work. The
old version where the link works and takes you to Paul's
'summary' table is the one still on the site.)

Someone please help...
