Explore the Scala file archive with ScalaVista, free for Mac and Windows.

- includes Scala file archive (by permission from Manuel Op de Coul)
- listen to any scale by pitches or intervals
- sort scales by name, description, scale tones, or comments
- edit existing scales and create new scales
- keep your archive in sync with the online archive

Hi-

I was very excited to see this, since Scala does not run on a Mac, but
unfortunately I can't get ScalaVista to open on my Mac running Snow Leopard
either- it crashes when I try to open it.

Hi Aaron,

I sent this in via the built-in bug report tool, but I'm not
sure it worked so I'll reply here also. On Vista 64 SP2, it
shows this dialog on launch

http://lumma.org/stuff/error.png

I click through it and get the bug reporter, then click continue
and I'm left with the history window but apparently nothing else
of the program is running.

OK, it seems Snow Leopard breaks all kinds of stuff...

Not sure what to tell you here, as it's running on 10.4 and 10.5,
and I have no way to test on 10.6 I've avoided 10.6 because it's
breaking things in everyone's software (and hardware!). But
I'll try some things anyway and post an update later today to
see if it works.

P.S. Please do not post bug reports here. Send them to me
directly; they will get posted on the bug reports page.

Yours,
Aaron
