Maybe you were lucky just to be in the same room as Willi Apel?? That
happened once to me with Messiaen...

BTW, maybe Paul Erlich isn't really 130... perhaps he just does things
faster than you do??

Nah, I've just been on the list longer, and spent much of my senior year
(just 6 years ago) in the music library.

I hope you learned more from Missiaen than I learned from Willi Apel.

Clearly, you are right. I pedal as fast as I can most everyday and seem to
accomplish very little.
