Free notation software for Mac and Windows, based on the H-System, built from the ground up for microtonal pitch.

Limited functionality release, details in the application.

this sounds intriguing - the screen shot shows an excellent solution but....

why do I need to install Apple Quicktime to download?

I'm not going to do that. sorry.

You don't. You just need to type the word 'music' into the box.

this is funky - on firefox and Win 7 release candidate it wanted quicktime.
But I just downloaded it on my XP virtual machine.

Thanks!

Dear Aaron Andrew,

This is a superb program! I just downloaded and tried it a bit. I like
the way things are so elegantly spread out in the interface. It works
in 205-tET, right? What the program lacks is a menu, and a save
button! (Really, is there no way to save a piece in Scordatura?)

Cordially,
Oz.

Dear Mr. Hunt,

many greetings from Hitomi san from Japan. I visited her in Kyoto two days ago, we spent nice afternoon enjoying your big Tonal Plexus keyboard and TBX1, her self-made 43 ET reed organ and discussing music, microtonal music, hardware and software. Compliments to your products!

Thank you, Oz! Yes, the tuning is 205ET. It's true, there is no
save feature; I'm sorry about that. I just never got around to it.
It could be added, but only if someone especially wanted to
pay for that. You see, the code base had to be abandoned.
I'm doing all programming for free, so I am putting my efforts
towards things I can keep developing. I'm glad I dropped in
today to get your message; thank you for the encouragement.

All the best!

Hi Daniel; thank you so much for the kind words and for
passing on friendly greetings! I didn't know you were
acquainted with Hitomi. She is really a lovely person,
wonderful to correspond with, and I had a lot of fun
building her special multi-colored keyboard. I'm glad
I dropped in to the list today, or I might not have
received your message; thank you for posting!

Yours,
AAH
