I promised to test out the DNA software with something other than guitars.

These images are of Ozan's supertrance when displayed in the melodic analysis window:

That's impressive - how hard is out to pick out the percussion?

It would be interesting to revise some old recordings with this,

I could damage say I am the Walrus mightily :-)

Thanks for sharing, Charles. Did you edit these with the
note assignment tool at all, or are they as DNA called them?
And, as you listen to the corresponding part of the piece,
do you find the notes are assigned accurately?

Thanks,

-Carl

These images are just how the default setting of DNA called them.
This was with the polyphonic setting.
You can choose the resolution and many other parameters to view, and export midi to chosen specs.

They seem to match what I am hearing.

Interesting, but sometimes overtones are interpreted as notes where
they shouldn't be.

Since a better mix is available, I will soon realize its Lucytuned
version too.

Oz.
