Radio Show: "Soundings" aired Feb. 12th on NPR's Afropop series

Hello -

The Feb. 12th Afropop radio music broadcast played some
very interesting early recordings including a harmonized vocal
made in 1893 which had a very unusual and harmonious sound.
There was also a Lomax recording of Leadbelly with his
"12 string guitar tuned low" made in the 1930s which had a
strange gripping sound.
I'm going to try to obtain a cassette of that broadcast. Their
