PITCH CD Releases 2009: World

It is with great pleasure that I announce that there will be 6 new PITCH
releases on CD in Fall '09.
Allow me to introduce the WORLD album (P-200210).
Here's a brief sketch: the FRYD are Norwegians in JI. Theodosii Spasov,
the world's champion of the kaval, from Bulgaria, solos. Iranian
multi-instrumentalist Reza Derakhshani's beautiful music is titled by its scale.
Frank J. Oteri set up a 9-piece Latin salsa band in JI. List member Mark
Rankins rocks the house in an American standard. And Bosnian microtonalist
Svjetlana Bukvich-Nichols is an important new voice.
