Early this morning, I came up with an 11-limit scale, a rational approximation of 15-et. I think I like this one, so much I'm about to rewrite one of my existing short pieces using this scale. As it is now, it mixes three equal temperaments: 24, 8 and quasi-pelog 9. (It also has different percussion instruments simultaneously playing in 7/8, 4/4, 5/8 and mixed 6/8-12/16.)

0. 1/1
1. 22/21*
2. 11/10
3. 8/7
4. 6/5
5. 44/35
6. 33/25
7. 25/18
8. 36/25
9. 50/33
10. 35/22
11. 5/3
12. 7/4
13. 20/11
14. 21/11*
15. 2/1
*alternatively, 21/20 and 40/21

This is derived from a temperament with a period of 400 cents and a 11/10-type generator, so think of either porcupine or Blackwood with a third-octave generator. A 72-edo version would have repeating patterns of {0, 5, 10, 14, 19, 24}.

I searched Scala's archives and did find similar scales: blackbeat15.scl, temp15coh.scl, temp15ebmt.scl, temp15ebsi.scl. I also found augene and tritikleismic in the list of linear temperaments, so this could qualify for either.

Some of you can have fun with this.
