12TET approximation using a noble interval generator

The first 4 tones of "noble 12TET" generated by the interval 1.0586 (which is derived from the noble number17.0586 where 1/17.0586 = 0.586...has the octave at 1.98054 instead of 2/1)

Is it just me...or do any of the rest of you hear a significant difference in the symmetry of beating between these 2 examples despite the incredibly similar tones used?
