Anyone up for putting an end to any more Suggestions for Michael?

Spare us, eh?

What do you think this is, chopped liver?

You know man...this all started out as one guy telling me I might want to try using the square root of PHI and my simply stating what happened when I tried to do so and some simple sound examples of my scale.

But somehow it broke into a tangent with things like Carl "demanding" some very very specific mathematical explanations for everything I've done to which almost every time I said "try listening to the sound examples, tell me which one you think is better/more consonant".  But, despite all this, the only person through all this crap who gave me a straight answer was Chris Vaisvil (THANK YOU CHRIS!)....and Carl simply asked something akin to "I don't know how to rate these, what algorithm/math are these scales supposed to go by, what are the fractions, etc."   And ended with things like Carl saying I must be smoking pot and teaching me all sorts of information about 7-limit JI tetrads which, unfortunately, have nothing to do with my original question or sound samples (or my scale)! :-(   BTW, Carl, I'm completely out of pot & so you can't have any, sorry. :-D

You know what Mark, I agree...that thread has become way to long and about all sorts of crap I never asked about...and almost completely devoid of the original topic.

I'm about to post a simple scale sound sample thread where I again ask the simple question "which sounds better".   And if anyone here throws the thread on a weird tangent again I will simply reply "that wasn't my question...my question was" and eventually just ditch the thread altogether if people just don't get it.  I'll let them dig their own hole next time.
