How long is it 'til Christmas?

As you may know, I've been trying to record a demonstration of the sounds in
question, however I had some technical difficulty recording the "experiment"
this week and will try again with better equipment this Monday.

It doesn't look like I will be able to set up a multi-track recording, but
at least I will be able to demonstrate what I have been talking about.
Perhaps someone with high level software can analyze the frequencies
spectographically (is that a word?).
