Altho Carl probably understood what you meant here,
your wording can be a bit misleading.

You mean that, visualizing a Pythagorean tuning system
on a linear lattice, the half of the intervals on the
side derived from a series of ascending '5ths' are larger
than their 12-tET cousins, and the half on the other side,
derived from a series of ascending '4ths' or descending '5ths',
are smaller.

By using the phrase 'half the time' without specifying the
the lattice visualization, you are giving the impression
that in an actual piece of music half of the intervals are
larger and half are smaller than those in 12-tET.

While this may be true generally speaking, it is not
*necessarily* true. I could imagine pieces which have a
predominance of one type of interval or the other.
It all depends on context.
