I agree that what makes the major scale so fascinating is all the different ways one can think of it.
Each view is a different resources. As a tetrachordal scale too which explains how it can work without harmony.

There is no rule to me that limits come is order. For instance the 9 came into the picture before 7 being 3 *3 so 15 is in this vein-possibly.

It falls into the nature of what Jung would describe as a "symbol". something that can never be completely defined, and seems to have endless layers of meaning.
Wilson's Eikosany affects me the same way but of course in a different way. Considering it vast superiority over the diamond, i am sorry it still has not been recognize for what it does. at least beyond these list historically.

while we are also touching upon scales made out of 2 harmonic series a 3/2 apart. The diamond adds so much more if one makes a dual diamond, two a 3/2 apart. too much to go into at the moment.

I admittedly don't know much about tetrachordal diamonds, but I will say virtually ALL of my scale experiments have shown me how important symmetry around the 5th is, not to mention how important ratios that can be stated in the form x/16 are.
