We found the 3/4 Martin at guitar center. It was $279 or do. I'm sure its a student model but the playability and tone is great. We also bought Debbie's Seagull that day too. That was $329 - we got a 10 percent discount on top of those prices. You (and Emily) were/are lucky. I started on a Sears silvertone electric that was pretty nasty.
