This is his diamond, a harmonic construct, without the added pitches Partch used to complete his scale. Without the added pitches it fails to be a constant structure ( or as good of one that can be done incorporating such a structure). This melodic integrity seems to be lost on a whole segments of JI personas many who claim to be based on his work. It favors harmonically based grids while failing to even suggest that a concept of a scale might exist. Partch's addition of the other 14 tones scales are of as great importance as this structure and without them represent a mere half statement.

Hi Kraig,

Agreed;
For Partch's fully set of all his complete 43 ratios, see:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Partch's_43-tone_scale
"Together with the 29 ratios of the 11 limit,
these 14 multiple-number ratios make up the full 43-tone scale."
