Thanks for doing this, Joe!

Joe,

You inserted,

"I have been unable to find an advocate of this tuning, which Paul calls a
'famous system'."

Manuel posted to the tuning list that this was a famous system transposed by
3/2. I forget the name. Please check the archives or contact Manuel. Manuel
also gave Ramos' system, which I showed was also a Fokker periodicity block
(on the list).

Manuel is correct that Paul's first periodicity-block, which
I identified as a tuning system by De Caus, is identical to the
later Ellis Duodene. The webpage now says so.

Regarding the second tuning: Interesting... scanning thru
my own book when I was making this webpage, I saw right away
that the *shape* of the lattice of the Marpurg tuning matched
your periodicity block, without noticing the transposition,
and actually typed the citation to it into the webpage,
*then* realized that it was transposed, so I deleted the
citation to Marpurg and wrote that bit about 'I have been
unable to find', etc. I've decided to also add the info
about Marpurg to the webpage.

I'd be glad to add the postings about Ramos as an appendix
to this page. Can you point me to them or send a copy?
