"I heard a slowish piece of classical or quasi-classical music for two
piano-s in just intonation on the radio at least ten years back, and
it didn't necessarily sound any more in tune to me than it would've
had it been in the usual Western tuning system, equal temperament, but

Normally "Yahoo Answers" is full of rubbish, but this deserves
consideration. Slow piece for two JI pianos written at least 10 years ago?

Jarrett premiered Lou Harrison's Concerto for piano with selected orchestra, which is in Kirnberger II. Jarrett liked the tuning so much that he kept his own piano in it. Perhpas this is the tuning in question.
