I have already said this more than once and I have to say that again. Since I first heard Euphony 1 (was it in 1997?), I liked it such an awful lot that it soon became the most favorite piece for me and I haven't changed my mind even today -- not only among the "microintervallic" pieces, but maybe among all Mr. Forró's music. To those who haven't heard it, I strongly encourage you to také a bit of your time to do that. Some years ago, he even explained me what was the tuning used there, which I have successfully forgotten (Daniel?). What I DO remember is that the final chord is a 13-limit "heptad" of 4:5:6:7:9:11:13 in various octave transpositions. -- BTW: One night in 1999, I had a strange dream about some fictitious people (whom I had "invented" a long long time ago) and for some reason, my dream ended with approximately the "second half" of Euphony 1. :-D

Dear Petr and Daniel,

I tried finding a link to files of these pieces, but without success
so far. Are they perhaps available in, say, mp3 format?

Thank you!

Best

Hi, Torsten,

thanks for your interest. When you visit my pages on Soundclick:

www.soundclick.com/forrotronics

you wil see somewhere a list with titles, or you can go to MUSIC,
then just select by name, select low or higher sound quality,
something like a player should appear and you can start streaming.
There's also possibility to download pieces, but... well... not
totally free, let's say almost free.

Enjoy! I will be happy to hear your opinion.

Have a nice day despite a listening my music :-)

Ah, I meanwhile realised that this a list consists of multiple
pages :) I went through the first 10 pages of this long list now (465
songs?), but I could not find the Microintervallic pieces mentioned
by Petr. Also the search did not help.

Could you perhaps provide a direct link to your "microintervallic"
pieces, say, Euphony 1?

Thanks!

Best
Torsten

Sorry, Torsten, of course I realized this right now when tried to find it to give you a better link. They really should improve their searching system...

Microtonal works are in the end, because they were the first I uploaded. You can find them on page 19, some other are I think on page 18 and other near in this direction.

I found also a possibility to send a link by email, I never tried how it works, let's try it. It showed these results for:

Euphony I: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=2386664

Seven Microtonal Studies: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=2386820

Euphony II: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=4520464

Cosmopolitan Music: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=4522646

Musica ex machina: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=4523941

Ekmelic Music 1: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=4622236

Musica per Piazza nel campo: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=5041820

Fudoo Myoo e no inori: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=2386392

Syntphonies part 2: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=4520370

Hopefully it will work...
