I've been reading some of your writings about constraint based music
systems and wondered if you knew about "The Palette--Melody Composing
Tool" from

http://www.palette-mct.com/index.html

The trial demo is mostly functional with just Export to midi disabled.
It appears to be an expert system for composing melodies in the
traditional way but I don't see any reason why the same principles
cannot be applied to microtonal music if some sort of set of rules
can be worked out.

Dear Robert,

Thanks for this link. I will study this software more closely once I am back home next week.
