Barbour, Reagonomics

Not to pursue this off-topic matter too far, but I think the decision to
tax unsold inventories is more an illustration of bipartisan
Congressional greed and anti-intellectualism. The Democrats controlled
Congress until very recently and have had the presidency for the past 7
years. If they had wanted to exempt book publishers they could have at
any time. A pox on both parties!

BTW, James Buckley, who promised to do something was a Conservative, not
a Liberal.
