Chapter five (New means of organization) of H.H. Stuckenschmidts "Twentieth
Century Music" comments on quite a few of the topics presently being
discussed on the tuning list regarding the onset (and assorted particulars)
of "serialism" while also touching on some interesting (lesser known)
historical figures and items such as Hauers "On the Nature of Music."

Chapter two also discusses intonation (almost exclusively divisions of the
tone and the corresponding composers and compositions... like Hba,
Carrillo, Vyshnegradsky, Busoni, or Blochs Piano Quintet, Enescos
"Oedipus", etc.).
