Scales/tunings

Talking about what scales work in which tuning, decimal points, and all that is good stuff...but, gimme imagination and the expression of something profound any day. I figure I could have a guitar done up in just about ant system you want, and I'll come up with some decent music on it (hopefully). When I compose, I usually have an idea about something I'm trying to express...then, my ear will lead me to the note combinations I need. My take on composition is: "Endless variations on endless motifs;" not so hard...best...Hstick (BTW, I have a fretless JI piece up at myspace.com/unpluggedunfretted)
