That is quite ironic. Mandelbaum, p.111f:

"Bosanquet devotes several pages to an extended discussion of Bach's . . .
temperament, and concludes that Bach's only objection to meantone
temperament was to the 'wolf' which can be removed through multiple
division."

Or, of course, a sufficiently extended meantone; I believe 25 tones cover
Bach's entire output. The Fokker keyboard is a natural solution for this
problem although it would increase organ-building costs by over 150%.
