generalized MIDI keyboard: your input wanted

:) I'm more than remotely interested in some kind of generalized keyboard controller, especially one that doesn't take up much space. This last week has just been really busy for me and I've had a lot of planning to do (moving from one state to another). Maybe over the weekend, after I've had some time to wind down and relax for a while, I might check out the forums....
