Hello Tony,

Sandberg had a unique notation and intonation based on multiple divisions of
the tone.
1) What are the tunings used on this piece?

I would be surprised if anyone did. You are the first to respond to the
video of Sandberg's Psalm 51 on this list.
2) Does anyone on the list know about the tunings used in any of his
works (list provided)

I have his scores. The AFMM has presented many different Sandberg
compositions, many of them premieres.
3) Does anyone have any of his bibliography or scores (list
provided), or are they available
somewhere?

They may be available through York University in Toronto, Canada. I am in
touch with the Sandberg children. I knew his widow, Hannah quite well. She
passed away fairly recently.

Hi Johnny,

The music is so beautiful! ... I like it almost as much as I like Koran recitation!

The instruments sounded very unique and the voice very natural!

I wish I could speak Jewish to understand the words too!

NOTATION

1) When you said subdivision of the tone, you mean the 12edo tone or the 9/8 ?

2) I s the notation indicated with tablature ? respecting stave notation?

Thanks for the references, I would try to get in touch with York University.
Maybe I can do Interlibrary loan if they have the scores, and if not I will
let you know!

Cheers
