I taught theory using this book at California Institute of the Arts
(formerly Los Angeles Conservatory of Music) about a hundred years ago. I'll
check my shelves when I get back to the college and see if it's still there.
Why is it important? Just because Paul E mentioned it maybe 86 times? Okay,
I guess that's important enough. Did Forte actually say something
significant? Perhaps I was too young to notice. I'll see what I can do.
