Hi Mohajeri!

I used a 16 note scale, which I have transcribed using cents notation as
follows:

With C as 0 cents, and with each semitone serving as a basis for cents
deviation:
C# +30
D +5
D# -15
Eb +38
E -5
F -15
F# +40
G +2
G# -10
G# +40
A +15
Bb -10
Bb +30
B -8

This scale played by virtuoso Dave Taylor on the bass trombone is juxtaposed
with the Georgian traditional scale, also starting on the same C. The
Perfect fifths is divided equally by 4 parts, while the upper perfect fourth is
divided in 3 parts.

As for a piece to for a future AFMM concert performance, obviously tuning is
not the issue (usually). Instrumentation might be the first level. What do
you envision? We do have lots of possibilities. As you know, I am a
bassoonist. I have wonderful wind and string players. Percussion might be tough
as you are a virtuoso and it may be difficult to impart what you want to your
satisfaction. What do you think?

Johnny Reinhard
