If you have always-on DSL or cable modem you are far more vulnerable to
port attacks and trojans than modem users. At Guard software firewall is
well respected and has been bought by Symantec. For some reason, their
"upgrade" at www.atguard.com seems to be a full working version with no
key code necessary. I have been told that it will be offered until Dec.
22. I have downloaded it and it appears to be functioning. Norton Anti
Virus says it is clean. Windows only.
