Scale Classification & Filemaker

I've worked and will be working as a Filemaker developer. Addign fields and so on would be easy.

But I don't know where one could host the file. Plus, you'd need the FM application to get at it.

We could maybe post a standalone Database somewhere, which anyone could use?

Does anyone know how to convert FileMaker to a
MySQL database? I have the server space that could
host that.

Yes, it is just a matter of exporting it.
You can export from FileMaker in lotsa different formats.
What formats can you accept and/or would you like it in?

XML, Comma-Separated, etc. etc.

I have the current Pro FileMaker 8.5 version running on an Intel Mac.

It's not that simple. See:

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/index.html

My server has MySQL installed, but I don't know how
to use it yet. If anybody here already knows how to set
it up, why not speed up the process?

If your system is running on Linux, I may be able to get a friend in UK who is a Linux developer to set it up for us.
Would you like me to ask him about it?
