Hi Gene,
my goodness, how did you find out about Florence Foster Jenkins? I've never heard of her. I'm out of words! :-D :-D

She was pretty well-known back in the day:

Yep, and there will always be similar, um, artists. My favorite,
bringing us to the current day, is Wing:

http://www.wingmusic.co.nz/

I mean, no one can sing "Dancing Queen" like her, and her album of
Elvis is to die for.

Cheers,
Jon

Here's another web page for you bad singing fans:

http://www.lyricstage.com/infamous_singers.htm

It has Mrs. Miller's famous version of "Downtown", and William
Shatner's "Mr. Tamborine Man", as well as Wing.

Totally. I notice her wikipedia page says she follows in
the footsteps of Jenkins.

I gotta say I like Shatner.

And by like, I mean, I have all his albums and have listened
to them surreptitiously.

Unfortunately, whatever I was trying to reach some audio, I always got: "General network error. Check your network documentation".

Sorry about that, Petr. It wasn't a problem for me, and I couldn't say
what is happening for you. If it was just a temporary problem, you
could try checking the sample audio page at:

http://www.wingtunes.com/public/samples.aspx

If that doesn't work, I'm not able to help, sorry.

Cheers,
Jon

Interesting. A while later, suddenly, it works okay without any error messages.
