Jeff, did mclaren indicate whether he had received any communication
from Yahoo? If they _did_ intervene, I'm assuming they'd e-mail him
to that effect. He does have an automatic blocking program which
bounces anything that has words like "lie", so he might've bounced
anything Yahoo had sent him.

I want to go on record as opposing the idea that Yahoo should be
involved in this. Jeff has stated his preference that the list be
as open as possible; isn't that enough?

Jeff, if mclaren has been blocked, would it work to have him forward
his posts to you, and you post them as coming from him? As long as
there are no more invocations of Yahoo, that'd overcome the block till
something better can be figured out.

I think that's a good suggestion for the time being. And I think
we should petition Yahoo to allow Brian back in.

I'm sorry about the role I had in getting him blocked, because
that was never my intention. Whoever wrote to Yahoo should
speak up.
