The Maneri's are in an especially good position as regards having
their music fairly easy to find these days... as they now have (at
least) four recordings on ECM, and Zorn's Avant label and Leo (as well
as and all the various branches of HatHUT - I think hatOLOGY is their
improvised or free jazz branch) are all generally well represented at
most places the size of (or with a similar selection as) Tower Records
too...

Speaking of "going to Tower and seeing what one can find," I hope that
someone will someday release some of the recordings of Mat's old group
PERSONA (in which Steve played two keyboards tuned a quartertone
apart).

Surprise, now internet boutiques seek to be independent of Tower. Case in
point, stereosociety.com, which is the label for "Raven." My producer was
not interested in Tower or any other non-net location. (Frankly, because the
world isn't as advanced as my producer is, I have it available at Boekman &
van Poppel in Amsterdam.)

When I first checked this site out a couple of months back I found
audio excerpts and some program notes for the "Raven" CD, but I just
checked in again and there's quite a bit more Reinhard (& some AFMM
related) material there now... so I thought I'd pass that info on for
anyone else who might be interested... you can check it out at:
