It's not microtonal out of the box, but plug in an H-Pi Tuning Box and a tone module, and
bang! - you've got a 192 key velocity sensitive microtonal synthesizer.

How did you find out it has 192 keys (did you count them?)?
I didn't see this info.

Also, are you sure the keys are wired separately? Does it
send on multiple MIDI channels (limit is 128 notes / channel)?

And I note the USB port is for firmware only, not MIDI.
And I guess this would be my biggest criticism of the
Tuning Box... MIDI cables are such a pain, and so slow.

Yes, this number 192 is correct but actually quite misleading, because the c-thru
duplicates MIDI notes as you hint here. On the other hand, only 6 of the 211 keys per
octave are duplicates in the default JND tuning of the Tonal Plexus, and in fact even these
