I have just posted a new piece called TimeWave Canon, which I
describe as "a mensuration canon in just intonation based on Terence
McKenna's TimeWave Zero". For more details, as well as MP3 and OGG
renderings and (as always) full source code (blue and Csound), please
visit http://mysterybear.net/article/21/timewave-canon

Best regards,
Dave

I find your pieces soothing as always. This one is quite exceptional. Bravo!

Salaam, Ozan. ok tesekkr ederim. :-)

Now that I've used most of my meager store of Turkish, I wonder if I might impose on you for a favor. I see that someone in Turkey has written a blog entry about this piece, but I'm unable to read it. I'd be very grateful if you could provide a translation. Here is the URL:

Thanking you in advance,
Dave

Emre Sevin seems to have liked your piece as well. He says you composed the
"prolation" canon by using Csound, Blue and Scala (which is based on Ada
programming language that he says is based on Lady Ada). He goes on to
define the form and Timewave mathematics of McKenna that you employed in the
work. He says to have received different reactions from the people he
informed regarding your music. According to him, some found it boring and
ordinary and others could not stop listening it over and over. Personally,
he finds it to evoke odd emotions and queasy impressions.

Oz.

Thanks, Oz!

"According to him, some found it boring and ordinary and others could not stop listening it over and over. Personally, he finds it to evoke odd emotions and queasy impressions."

I'm not sure, but I think I like both of these statements. Certainly better than indifference! :-)
