This looks like a thorough digest Graham... Care to publish a PDF version?

Why do you want one? I edit it as HTML source so what I see is what you see when you download it. There are a lot of internal links that I'm not sure how to translate to PDF. And I don't see any advantages to make up for the user losing freedom over font size and other styling. Which is why I ask you.

But then, we won't be able to print it at home with the click of a button
and read it at our leisure.

Why, what's the problem with printing a web page? (Except that it seems to be down at the moment.)

Page alignment issues and time. Let's automate the procedure. Why not make
it more printer-friendly?

Here's a solution: PDFCreator is free software (though it is Windows-only) that installs as a printer driver. Anything you can print (including a web page) can be "printed" to a PDF file. It does a pretty nice job.

Another possibility is to edit the file into a LaTex file and save the
output as pdf.

Can a knowledgable gracious person assist us ignorant folk and prepare just
such a file?

The only automatic way I have to generate a PDF is from the Print dialog in Safari. Printing that's naturally going to give exactly the same results as printing it from Safari and I have no reason to assume it'll be better than printing it directly from your web browser of choice.

Converting it to LaTeX first might give better results, but it's also a significant amount of work, and perhaps you'll have finished reading it by then. If you, or anybody else, want to convert it I'll consider hosting the result if you think it'll be easier for others to read.

Anyway, you can find the probably useless output of Safari at http://microtonal.co.uk/TheRegularMappingParadigm.pdf

That's it? Only 19 pages? Does it cover all the links of your work on the
web?
