I found some music-related articles--mostly stolen from Wikipedia?--on
TvWiki, an attempt to commericalize Wiki by putting ads on the pages.
Aside from the ads, it's supposed to be about television, which limits
its scope.

You've found a Wikipedia mirror. There are hundreds or even thousands of them:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Mirrors_and_forks

tvwiki.tv is actually one of the better ones, because it at least
mentions the GFDL at the bottom. Some of them actually have the gall
to say "all rights reserved", which is of course a blatant copyright
violation.

It's not a mirror; at least I think from what they say it is an
editable Wiki.

Is it a copyright violation to say it?

Well, I guess it's technically a fork then, but it's still practically
a mirror. The article on the TV show 24, for example, only has a few
words different from the Wikipedia version.

Saying "all rights reserved" is most definitely a violation of the
GFDL copyright license. The GFDL basically says "we don't reserve all
rights, in fact we give most of them to you, but only on the condition
that you don't reserve any of them either".

Anyway, this is totally off topic...
