Johnny, though pretty late, my observations are as follows... I'm impressed! In Zelig, the trombonist was so pumped up about something that his moves and talk made me laugh, and yet I think he played very elegantly. Joel was entertaining, it reminded me of Gene's style of composing with all the 7-limit homophony. Eaton was kinda eerie in a strangely pleasing way, Glinka was excellently rendered as might be expected from such pros as yourselves, Mozart was truly moving in quasi 5-limit harmonies (don't tell me it was in Werckmeister III!), Haydn was likewise splendid.

In short, my heartiest congratulations! Was this concert performed in a chapel?

I'm thinking of composing a 79-tone symphony circling all the maqamat in complex usuls... sort of a grand philarmonic `Kar-i Natik`. Maybe AFMM can perform it one day...

Cordially,
Oz.
