In editing the Wikipedia entry on Erv Wilson, I found the
website of one of my favorite musicians...

http://perfectbuzz.com

(His old site went down years ago, with no replacement at
that time.)

Gene, you can now listen to yet another of my top 10 without
having to buy a CD.

He's got some very exotic scales in there. One is a 7 note MOS for 21
steps out of 82, another looks like the 8 note MOS for 80&111, 68
notes out of 111 as a generator. These only make sense to me from a
high-limit point of view. He also keeps using the 4&21 temperament in
its 9-note MOS for reasons I can't explain.

Then there's Schismatic[7], and finally one which makes loads of
sense, Schismatic[17] for Khan Abyss.

I've heard some of this before, but a lot is new to me. I've also
never figured out that name! Some of the stuff which used to be there
under Continuum has been removed, so it might be a good idea to check
it out now, as it seems things can change.
