Why not? Say you are noodling away on your 31 out of 89 keyboard. If
it has a good design, it should allow you to fix whatever chord you
are holding down and slide your MOS in one direction or another when
that is possible. Now the "wolf" has moved somewhere else.

Hey, I've used every pitch in 171-edo. As Hedley Lamarr noted, "it
*can* be done!"
